At a reception for Olga Epifarovna Deputy Chairperson of the Russian State Duma, who is in Vietnam to pay tribute to the Vietnamese President, Ms. Ngan said the Vietnamese National Assembly supports exchanges and cooperation between the two countries’ MPs to share experiences and boost parliamentary cooperation in order to oversee the implementation of agreements and commitments signed by the both sides.
The two leaders agreed to hold activities in each other’s country in anticipation of the 25th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on basic principles of the Vietnam-Russia friendship in 2019 and the 15th anniversary of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Hanoi.
