(VOVworld) – A Maltese official has suggested Malta and Vietnam boost cooperation in sea port management, financial and tourism services, and human resource training in maritime law, diplomacy, and foreign languages.

Angelo Farrugia, Speaker of the House of Representatives of Malta received Vietnamese Ambassador to Italy and Malta Cao Chinh Thien last week.

Ambassador Thien said both sides should promote delegation exchanges to strengthen dialogue to increase cooperation in a number of areas.

Ambassador Thien was also received by Maltese Minister of Foreign Affairs George Vella.
