Vietnam logs additional 4,892 COVID-19 cases on Thursday

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam reported 4,892 new COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours as of 5pm on Thursday, according to the Ministry of Health. They included 16 imported cases and 4,876 locally-transmitted cases in 16 cities and provinces.

So far, Vietnam has reported 905,477 infections.

Also on Thursday, 1,649 COVID-19 patients recovered bringing the total recoveries in Vietnam to nearly 814,000. With 54 deaths reported on Thursday, Vietnam has so far had 21,910 deaths of COVID-19, accounting for 2.5% of infections. So far, Vietnam has administered more than 77 million doses of COVOD-19 vaccines including more than 22 million doses for two jabs.
