(VOVworld) – On Saturday, President Tran Dai Quang, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Vice President Dang Thi Ngoc Thinh, and Deputy Prime Minister Truong Hoa Binh sent congratulatory messages to the US’s 45th President and the 48th Vice President.
The Vietnamese leaders wished President Donald Trump, Vice President Mike Pence, and their new administration success for happiness and prosperity of the American people and for peace, stability, cooperation, and development in the world. The Vietnamese leaders said both Vietnam and the US are facing big opportunities to broaden and deepen cooperation under the framework of their strategic partnership on the basis of respect for international law and for each other’s independence, sovereignty, territorial integrity and political regime. They expressed their hope to forge closer ties with the US to boost cooperation between ASEAN and the US, between APEC members, and other regional mechanisms for peace, stability, cooperation, and development.
