Vietnam, Laos enhance sharing of legislative experience

(VOVWORLD) -The top legislative bodies of Vietnam and Laos have maintained regular reciprocal visits, shared information, and consolidated mutual trust, National Assembly Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan told Lao National Assembly Vice Chairman Sengnouane Xayalat, in Hanoi on Tuesday.

Ms. Ngan suggested both sides increase the sharing of experience in regards to lawmaking, and the supervision of the implementation of signed agreements between the two governments.

Mr. Xayalat praised workshops organized by Vietnam for Lao national Assembly deputies and People’s Council members, saying that bilateral cooperation has been deepened.  

Ealier the same day, the Lao National Assembly Vice Chairman held talks with his counterpart Tong Thi Phong.
