(VOVworld) – Japan’s Deputy Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Mitsuyoshi Yanagisawwa began a 3-day working visit to Vietnam on Friday. Both sides are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding on bilateral cooperation in chemicals management, part of a Vietnam-Japan policy dialogue on chemicals management and technical cooperation. The two countries are committed to completing by 2020 an “Asian Sustainable Chemical Safety Plan”, first proposed at the 2002 World Summit on Sustainable Development.
