Vietnam, Indonesia tighten cooperation

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam and Indonesia have agreed on specific measures to further the friendship and multi-faceted cooperation in trade, industry, energy, investment, agriculture, and transportation.

Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh and Indonesian Trade Minister Enggartiasto Lukita reached the agreement at the 7th session of Joint Committee on Economic, Scientific, and Technological Cooperation in Hanoi on Saturday.

Minister Tuan Anh said both sides will increase exchanges of high-level delegations, information, and experiences in management and development, and building of new cooperation frameworks.

High priority will be given to enhancing links among private economic sectors of the two countries to tap cooperation potential.

The two ministers signed the minute of the 7th session of the joint committee.
