The meeting was co-chaired by Vietnam’s Deputy Foreign Minister Pham Quang Vinh and the Head of Policy Analysis and Development of Indonesia’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pitono Purnomo. The two sides discussed issues relating to bilateral strategic partnership including efforts to boost bilateral cooperation in the region and the world. They also identified some key cooperative fields such as politics, national security, laws, trade, food security, and energy. Regarding regional and global issues, the two sides agreed to increase cooperation in regional, inter-regional and multilateral forums.
