(VOVWORLD) - The WTO’s second Trade Policy Review (TPR) session for Vietnam was held online Tuesday.

Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh highlighted Vietnam’s achievements since the first TPR session in 2013 in imports, exports, growth, and economic reforms, and briefed participants on Vietnam’s plans for building and enforcing trade policies. He emphasized how much Vietnam’s economy has opened and and how responsible Vietnam has been in realizing international commitments since it became a WTO member. Vietnam is determined to continue its comprehensive integration and economic reforms, he said.    

Vietnam’s delegates updated the other WTO members on Vietnam’s investment environment and trade institutions, showing Vietnam’s resolve to develop its own economy while complying with international commitments.
