Vietnam has 1.63 billion USD trade surplus in four months

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam registered a trade surplus of 1.63 billion USD in the first four months of 2021 despite a 4% decline in monthly import-export turnover in April, according to the General Department of Vietnam Customs.

Vietnam’s import-export turnover so far this year has totaled 208 billion USD, up 30.7%. Exports generated 105 billion USD.

Major exports were machinery, spare parts, computers, electronic products and components, and mobile phones and accessories.

In the reviewed period, Vietnam spent more on importing crude oil, ores, and minerals.
