The Confederation presented 400 gifts for disadvantaged trade union members and workers and allocated more than 64,000 USD to help 42 others build or repair their houses as the Lunar New Year (Tet) is approaching. Speaking at the gift-giving ceremony, National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu praised the efforts of workers and businesses over the past years and called for stronger measures to create more jobs and improve workers’ living conditions in Thanh Hoa province.
