Foreign workers traveling via or from affected countries are being monitored. Vice Minister Thanh said that overseas Vietnamese workers are frequently updated with delayed migration date: “We communicate with concerned workers that Vietnam is safe. For enterprises facing constraints in material and export markets, we suggest them restructure and look for other sources of materials and markets.”

ILO Office Director Chang Hee Lee praised the Vietnamese government’s effort and pledged support to the Ministry’s guidance to workers in epidemic prevention.
