Launched just 2 weeks ago, the fund has already received donation from hundreds of thousands of individuals and organizations.

Its managing board has opened 21 accounts in major banks to receive donation in VND and hard currencies. The fund’s status is updated and publicized daily.

Vietnam plans to set up a 1.1 billion USD fund to acquire 150 million COVID-19 vaccine doses for its population.
