The latest infection case is a 41-year-old US citizen living in the central city of Da Nang. He went abroad on February 11 and travelled through India, Spain, Morocco, Switzerland, Germany, Hungary and the Netherlands.

The other new patients reported in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, and Ninh Thuan province were travelers who recently returned to Vietnam on international flights.

They are being quarantined and appear to be in good health with no sign of fever, cough, or shortness of breath.

Vietnam’s  68 Covid-19 cases include 16 people who have completely recovered.
