293 domestic cases were recorded in Bac Giang (129), Ho Chi Minh City (95), Bac Ninh (54), Ha Tinh (9), Lang Son (2), Hanoi (2), Phu Tho (1), and Binh Duong (1). Of them, 254 cases were detected in lockdown or quarantine areas.

As of 6pm on Sunday, Vietnam had a total of 8,902 domestic cases and 1,636 imported cases. The number of new cases from April 27 is 7,332. There are 21 provinces that have not recorded new cases for 14 days. 3,827 Covid-19 patients have been declared cured and 59 patients have died.
