(VOVworld) – Twenty-one travel agents of China’s Dong Xing city had a fact-finding tour of tourist destinations and routes in Mong Cai City in Quang Ninh province.

Li Xiao Huang, a representative of a Chinese travel agent, said they were “impressed by the tourist routes and destinations in Mong Cai due to their convenience and beauty, particularly their cultural and historical values. We want to make the most of these destinations to offer diverse options for tourists.”

Mong Cai City, a gateway for domestic and international economic exchange, has advantages over receiving Chinese visitors who visit Vietnam through Mong Cai International Border Crossing.

Each day Mong Cai welcomes up to 300 visitors and 2015 sees nearly 1 million people, a record.

Pham Thi Oanh, an official of the city’s Culture, Sports, and Tourism Department, said: “we’ll develop an overall plan to improve the quality of services, tourist routes, and tours and ensure tourists’ interests. We’ll make sure that catering services such as shopping, transport, and accommodations will meet all set regulations. ”
