Vietnam, China attach great importance to bilateral ties

(VOVWORLD) - Vietnam gives top priority to developing ties with China and consistently pursues the “One China policy”, Party General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong told Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing on Tuesday.

Premier Li said that China prioritizes relations with Vietnam and that under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam headed by Mr. Trong, Vietnam will successfully implement the 13th Party Congress Resolution and fulfill its targets until 2030 with a vision to 2045.

Meeting with Li Zhanshu, Chairman of the National People's Congress Standing Committee, Party leader Trong called on the Vietnamese and Chinese legislatures to promote delegation exchanges and tighten cooperation in multilateral forums.

The same day, Mr. Trong also met Wang Yang, Chairman of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference.
