Meeting with Sultan of Brunei Darussalam Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, the two leaders reached consensus on increasing high-level contact and discussions to facilitate the implementation of the plan of action to roll out the Vietnam-Brunei comprehensive partnership in 2023-2027.
They agreed to bolster bilateral trade in a more diverse and balanced manner through expanding collaboration in potential areas, with four main priorities of oil and gas, chemicals, Halal products and tourism-people exchange.
The Sultan said that the two countries have great potential for cooperation in economy, trade, investment, agriculture, fisheries, energy, education-training, national defense.

During their meeting, Prime Minister Chinh and his Singaporean counterpart Lee Hsien Loong agreed to maintain visit exchanges to increase political trust and to organize practical activities to celebrate joint anniversaries this year.
They agreed on the effective implementation of the newly established Digital Economy - Green Economy Partnership, including setting up an interdisciplinary agency in each country to discuss this issue, and implementing the February 2022 Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of digital economy.
The two sides also agreed to further promote cooperation in other fields such as security, defense, education and training, and development of high-quality human resources.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Singapore and the 10th anniversary of their Strategic Partnership, Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will visit Vietnam in the second half of this year.

At the meeting with Lao Prime Minister Sonexay Siphandone, the two leaders agreed to make efforts to raise the level of cooperation, promote economic connectivity, effective integration, and support each other for socio-economic development.
The two Governments pledged to remove obstacles and promote the implementation of key projects and improve the investment environment. Prime Minister Chinh affirmed Vietnam's commitment to give Laos the highest support to successfully assume the ASEAN Chair in 2024.
Discussing regional and global issues, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and leaders agreed to strengthen cooperation, maintain solidarity and promote ASEAN’s centrality. They also agreed to support each other's candidacy for international organizations and the United Nations.
Later on Wednesday, Prime Minister Chinh had a meeting with Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. He called on Malaysia to create more favorable conditions for Vietnamese goods and services, including Halal products, to access the Malaysian market and encourage Malaysian businesses to increase investment in Vietnam.
The Malaysian Prime Minister said Vietnam is an important partner of Malaysia in the region and he is looking forward to President Vo Van Thuong's visit to Malaysia later this year. Anwar Ibrahim pledged to further cooperation relations with Vietnam, including maritime cooperation, and agreed to consider setting up a hotline to facilitate settlement of issues arising at sea.
Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos and the two leaders affirmed their determination to soon increase the two-way trade turnover to 10 billion USD.
They stressed measures to facilitate the opening of markets for each other's key exports, including agricultural products and food, deepen cooperation in agriculture, industry, high technology, tourism, marine economic development, education and training, and climate change.
