During the online talk, Chairman Hue thanked Australia for its commitment to spend 40 million AUD to support Vietnam in accessing COVID-19 vaccines and asked Speaker Smith to pay greater attention to equitable distribution and sharing of vaccines so that poor countries can access vaccine resources.

In the coming time, the two legislative bodies will continue to maintain contact and promote their role in enhancing bilateral relations.

Speaker Smith said he totally agrees with Chairman Hue’s proposals. He noted that the Australian Prime Minister has made it clear that vaccinations against COVID-19 must be implemented quickly.
