Addressing the Association’s 6th Congress in Hanoi on Friday, Mr. Man urged for greater effort to renovate the Association’s mode of operation and gather more members to participate in the emulation movement called "Advanced age - Bright example".
“The Association needs to better perform its core role in health care, improving the material and spiritual life for the elderly, and understand the thoughts and aspirations of the elderly. It’s necessary to diversify ways take care of the elderly and promote socialization of activities, especially self-care for the elderly, Mr. Man said.
“The elderly and the Association continue to promote their wisdom and experience, join patriotic emulation movements and study and talent movements, and encourage their children and grandchildren to try hard in study, work, production, and business,” he added.
