Addressing the ceremony on Sunday, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue asked the association to improve its members’ competency and strengthen international cooperation.

“Vietnamese accountants and auditors should raise their responsibilities to finetune economic institution and legal regulations. This will help improve business and investment climate, national and corporate governance, prudent financial and economic management as well as combating corruption and wastefulness,” said Mr. Hue.

The Deputy Prime Minister encouraged the association to participate more actively in the implementation of national accounting and auditing strategy by 2030.
