Vietnam, Argentina issue Joint Communique

(VOVWORLD) - President Mauricio Macri, his spouse and the high-ranking Argentine delegation wrapped up their three-day State visit to Vietnam on February 21. Both sides have issued a joint communique.

The two sides agreed to strengthen and diversify economic and trade cooperation towards balanced interest of the two sides. They agreed to promote tourism cooperation to increase economic revenues and mutual understanding between the two peoples. They will discuss measures to facilitate entry of the two countries’ citizens. They expressed their interest in cooperation in using atomic energy for peaceful purposes and highlighted the cooperation potential in building research reactors and application of atomic energy in health care. They expressed their wish to boost cooperation in defense. They will promote cultural cooperation and exchanges as well as implementation of the MoU between the Voice of Vietnam and Argentina's Federal System of Public Media and Content. They agreed to further cooperation in sports and information exchanges.
