Both leaders agreed to increase the exchange of reciprocal visits, effectively implement cooperative agreements, and boost cooperation in agriculture, economy-trade, science-technology, education, tourism, sports, and culture. They stressed the need to expand cooperation to other fields such as high-tech industry, digital transformation, innovation, climate change response, and sustainable growth, as well as cooperation between localities.

These will help comprehensively implement Vietnam-Argentina cooperation and consider establishing a framework of Strategic Partnership in industry, agriculture and energy, they said.

Both agreed that the two legislatures should work closely to facilitate the operation of the two business communities, including opening the market for strong agricultural products of Vietnam and Argentina.

They pledged support for their businesses to access each other’s markets, promote cooperation between the two legislatures to share experiences in legislation, supervision and decision making, increase coordination at multilateral forums, and support each other’s positions on regional and global issues.

After the talks, Hue and Moreau signed a cooperation agreement between the two legislatures.
