Ambassador Dang Hoang Giang, Head of Vietnam's Permanent Mission to the United UN, said the Government and relevant agencies of Vietnam have implemented specific programs and measures to address the heavy consequences of post-war UXO, as well as support victims.

He thanked international partners and friends for their valuable support and assistance for Vietnam.

At the event, a documentary film produced by the Vietnam National Mine Action Centre (VNMAC) was screened, helping the international community better understand Vietnam's achievements and efforts in overcoming the consequences of landmines.
