The two leaders said the Party, State and people of the two countries have always attached great importance and priority to enhancing traditional friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos. The two countries pledged to continue exchange visits and high-level contacts as well as enhancing cooperation between two legislative bodies in supervising, creating favorable legal conditions for implementing cooperative projects. They also agreed to exchange their experiences in law making and promote cooperation and support at regional and international parliamentary forums. Ms. Doan asked the Laos National Assembly to facilitate the Vietnamese community in getting Laos citizenship and long-term residence in Laos and support mechanisms and policies to promote investment and Vietnamese businesses in the country.
