Vietnam and Malaysia are the only two ASEAN countries that made the list.

About 85% of respondents living in Vietnam said they were satisfied with their work and life in general. 78% of them said they enjoy the work-life balance.

The survey, conducted in January of this year, asked 12,000 people how they felt about their life in a foreign country in 2020 when the COVID-19 pandemic was impacting lives around the world. Participants rated four factors: quality of life, ease of settling in, career prospects, and satisfaction with life abroad in general.
