If adopted, Vietnam would become one of the few countries with a comprehensive legal framework on AI, Mr. Phuong noted.

The draft law is built on several core principles: putting people at the center, ensuring safety and transparency, fostering inclusive and sustainable development, and promoting balanced governance. It also seeks to drive growth with special incentives for AI research and development.

The event included discussions on AI infrastructure, the Vietnam AI Awards 2025 ceremony, business matching activities, and the AI Expo & AI Show.
