VGCL is fund-raising from now until October 15th to encourage state employees, whose incomes have not been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, to donate money or essential goods depending on their situation. The donation will be sent to disadvantaged workers in the southern region as soon as possible.
The COVID-19 pandemic has been spreading and severely affecting all people and social aspects. Initial statistics show that Vietnam has 36,000 workers infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus. The prolonged pandemic has forced millions of people to temporarily stop working or lose their jobs.
