The forum themed “Business Community in Partnership with Government of Vietnam in Fostering Green Growth” was  co-organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Planning and Investment and the World Bank Group’s International Finance Corporation (IFC). It serves as an uninterrupted and close dialogue mechanism between the Government and the domestic and foreign business communities.

Receiving the recommendations of the working groups, representatives of the ministries and sectors of Vietnam gave answers on the complaints of investors and businesses.

Dang Xuan Quang, Deputy Director of Legal Department, Ministry of Planning and Investment, said: “Over the past time, the regulations on investment procedures and their enforcement have greatly improved and progress has been recognized by the business community. However, some investment procedures and other administrative procedures remain protracted. In the spirit of dialogue, we would like to receive specific information on such cases to coordinate with businesses to come up with immediate solutions.”

The business community's constructive comments related to the legal framework, mechanisms and policies at the technical meeting will be reported to the Prime Minister at the high-level meeting of the VBF scheduled for Sunday.
