In an NBC “Meet the Press” interview, Haley said the United States hopes to stay in the international nuclear deal signed in 2015 with Iran. She said the reason the United States is looking closely at the deal is because of escalating tensions, over North Korea’s nuclear weapons development. Haley said that the US’s message is not to let Iran become the next North Korea.
