Ms. Psaki said the US will not speculate about the cause of the explosion at Iran’s key nuclear site on Sunday, which Tehran blamed on Israel. She said the negotiations will be a long process but the US sees this move as a positive sign. US Special Envoy for Iran Rob Malley will participate in the talks, aimed at bringing the US and Iran back to the deal’s original commitments.

Last week, Iran and the UK, France, Russia, China, and Germany held direct talks in Vienna to try to save the nuclear deal.
