Daniel Kritenbrink and his South Korean counterpart Yeo Seung-bae reaffirmed the robust South Korea-US alliance as the linchpin of peace and stability in the northeast Asia and the Indo-Pacific region.
They agreed to expand bilateral cooperation on climate change, COVID-19 response, and supply chains, agreed on the need to "stably manage the situation on the Korean Peninsula", and discussed ways to resume the dialogue with Pyongyang as soon as possible.
