Reuters/Ipsos opinion polls released on Wednesday showed that the former vice president ahead by 4 percentage points in Florida, matching the poll’s credibility interval, and up 2 points in Arizona.

In Florida, 50% said Biden would be better at handling the coronavirus pandemic while 41% said Trump would be better. In Arizona, the rate was 49% for Biden and 43% for Trump.

At the 2016 presidential election, Trump narrowly won over Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton in both Florida and Arizona. If Joe Biden wins in Arizona in November, it would be the first time a Democratic presidential candidate has done so since the election in 1996.
