Pompeo said if North Korea agrees to completely dismantle its nuclear weapons programs and launch capability, the US will allow capitalist endeavors in North Korea to help build out the energy grid. The US is also ready to invest in infrastructure development and agricultural projects to ensure North Korea’s food supply if Pyongyang meets US conditions.

The first summit between the US and North Korea will take place in Singapore on June 12.
