US Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation 2020 Competition in Vietnam launched

(VOVWORLD) - The US Embassy in Vietnam has announced the launch of the US Ambassador’s Fund for Cultural Preservation (AFCP) 2020 Competition in which Vietnamese non‐commercial entities may submit proposals for projects whose main objective is preserving cultural heritage in Vietnam.

Project applicants can submit to the AFCP for Small Grants from 10,000 USD to 200,000 USD or Large Grants from 200,000 USD to 800,000 USD. The fund covers conservation projects on cultural sites including ancient or historic buildings, archaeological sites, cultural objects, paintings, sculpture, manuscripts, and general museum conservation needs. Eligible projects also cover those relating to forms of traditional cultural expression such as recording of traditional music, indigenous languages and dance forms.
