According to the US Naval Forces Command, the world's largest aircraft carrier, the USS Gerald R. Ford, has entered the Caribbean.

The deployment, ordered three weeks ago, aims to strengthen efforts to combat drug trafficking in the region.

The Trump administration is currently conducting an expanded military campaign across the Caribbean and the Eastern Pacific, deploying naval and air forces to hunt down vessels that the US suspects of transporting drugs.
