500 water purifiers, 2,500 bars of soap, and 300 bottles of hand wash gel, were given to 500 residents of Phuoc Trung commune in Bac Ai district, and Loi Hai and Phuoc Khang communes in Thuan Bac district.

Ninh Thuan is one of seven provinces benefiting from the support of UNICEF in Vietnam. Other provinces receiving aid are Ben Tre, Soc Trang, Kon Tum, Gia Lai, Dien Bien and Lao Cai.
