The company, which is Agriconsulting SA (AESA), plans to spend an estimated 1.18 million USD from March 2019 to February 2022 for the operation of the Food Security Office's Pyongyang branch, including personnel expenses.

South Korea is pushing its plan to send 50,000 tons of rice to North Korea through the World Food Program (WFP) to help with North Korean food shortages. South Korean officials are discussing with WFP representatives on how to avoid sanctions during the delivery.
