The two politicians discussed the resumption of the conflict resolution process in the East of Ukraine after a three-year pause, as well as the main results of the Normandy Four summit which was held in Paris on Dec. 9.
Zelensky confirmed that Ukraine would remain a reliable partner for the EU, and thanked the European Union's representative for their support in trilateral negotiations.
The president of the European Council praised Ukraine's progress in implementing the European integration reforms and reaffirmed the EU's willingness to continue to provide assistance as necessary in this process.
