Turkish flight diverted to Ireland after bomb threat
(VOVworld) – Turkish Airlines flight TK-34 made an emergency landing at Shannon airport in Ireland, following a handwritten bomb threat. The Boeing 777-300, carrying 227 passengers, was flying from Houston, Texas, to Istanbul. It was forced to land after a note saying there was a bomb on the plane was found on board. On Friday, a Turkish Airlines flight bound for Istanbul from New York was diverted to Canada because of a bomb threat.
