Trung Vuong, the predecessor of which was the Dong Khanh girls’ school, was founded in 1917 to train female teachers and students. After the August Revolution in 1945, the school was named after Trung Vuong, the first national heroine in Vietnam’s history.  During the resistance war against French colonialists, Trung Vuong school was the headquarters of the Ministry of National Defense.  Trung Vuong is now one of the leading schools in the capital city. It has cooperated with scores of prestigious schools and educational organizations in the world.

On this occasion, National Assembly Chairwoman Ngan signed a decision to issue a stamp collection of Dong Khanh-Trung Vuong school.
