(VOVworld) - Cao Bang provincial People’s Committee and the Vietnam Buddhist Shangha has begun the construction of Truc Lam Ban Gioc pagoda. Located in Dam Thuy commune, Trung Khanh district, the pagoda is built on a hill with ancient Viet design and complete view of Bac Gioc waterfall. The pagoda costs 18 billion VND and most funding is donation from the Buddhist Shangha. Once completed by the end of 2014, the pagoda will serve religious purposes and boost tourism potential in Ban Gioc as a key destination for visitors in Cao Bang province.
