TikTok honors Vietnam News Agency’s anti-fake news project

(VOVWORLD) - Factcheckvn, a TikTok fact-checking channel launched by the Vietnam News Agency as part of a project to fight fake news, was honored at TikTok Awards Vietnam 2020 on Sunday in Ho Chi Minh City.

TikTok Awards Vietnam honors outstanding creators, trends, and campaigns that have contributed to spreading positive messages to the community.

The awards cover 11 categories, including creator, campaign, music, and artist of the year.

The ‘Hashtag Campaign of the Year’ award went to the handwashing dance.

‘Inspiring Creator of the Year’ went to Angela Tuong Vy and Ytiet who overcame difficulties to spread positivity. 

‘Music of the Year’ went to the song “Ghen Co Vy”, a musical response to the COVID-19 pandemic in Vietnam.
