Thousands respond to Dance for Kindness

(VOVWORLD) - Thousands of people in Hanoi and the central city of Da Nang joined the Dance for Kindness event on Sunday to mark International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, November 25. 

This is the 4th year Dance for Kindness has been held in Vietnam. Vu Minh Ly, Chief organizer of the event, told VOV: “The event has been running since November 11 to spread the message on preventing violence against and abuse of girls. This year, we focus on sexual harassment and assault in public places , particularly on buses.”

Dance for Kindness was initiated in 2012 by Life Vest Inside, a New York-based non-profit organization. The event has been held in more than 100 countries and territories.
