Third Russia-Ukraine round of talks makes some progress

(VOVWORLD) - Ukrainian presidential advisor Mikhail Podolyak said the third round of talks between Russia and Ukraine in Belarus made a bit of progress but Ukraine is still concerned about the logistics of humanitarian corridors.

He said intense discussion between Moscow and Kyiv continued on the issue of securing a ceasefire, but there has been no agreement so far.

At a press conference on Monday, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said he will be attending a meeting on Saturday in the resort city of Antalya between Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and Ukraine’s Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba.

Maria Zakharova, a spokesperson for the Russian foreign ministry, confirmed the meeting, which was proposed by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan during a phone call on Sunday with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
