Monday's discussions at the truce village of Panmunjeom came after the two Koreas agreed last Tuesday to work out the details of the North’s participation in the Winter Games through a series of talks.

In a related development, North Korea on Monday proposed similar working-level talks on Wednesday to discuss its Winter Olympic participation.
