(VOVworld)-The memorial relic of late President Ton Duc Thang held a ceremony on Tuesday to receive a national recognition of its special classified relic.

Speaking at the ceremony, President Truong Tan Sang praised the local government and people’s effort to preserve and develop the memorial site. He reiterated President Ton Duc Thang’s role as a national and international revolutionary soldier:“As a State leader, President Ton Duc Thang has joined the whole nation to lead the resistance war against the US to a complete victory of southern liberation and national unification. He set a bright example of a communist overcoming prison hardship and represented the national unity.”
