(VOVworld) – On Friday, the Vietnam Postal Corporation issued a special stamp collection to celebrate the ASEAN Community.

With the theme of "Welcoming ASEAN Community - A Vision, An Identity, and A Community", the main motifs of the stamp collection are images of the 10 ASEAN countries' flags which create an inseparable flower-petal with a blue sky and pigeons.  Artist Vu Kim Lien was awarded the First Prize for the ASEAN Stamp design: “The stamp collection must highlight the 3 themes of ASEAN in the future: vision, identity, and community. The focus is one community and the identity of each member country. So, I designed the flags of ASEAN countries combined together to create a flower to show community spirit and the unity of all ASEAN countries in the future”.  

Apart from Vietnam, the stamp collection "Welcoming ASEAN Community” is also being issued by the Postal Corporations of other ASEAN countries.
