Lee Do-hoon, special representative for Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs, is in the US capital to meet with American special envoy Stephen Biegun to discuss ways to keep the dialogue going. Lee emphasized the importance of coordination between South Korea and the US.
South Korea’s Foreign Ministry said senior officials of the US, Japan, and South Korea will meet in Washington to discuss outcomes of the recent working-level negotiations between the US and North Korea in Sweden.
