South Africa promotes cooperation with Vietnam at multilateral forums

(VOVWORLD) - President Nguyen Xuan Phuc on Wednesday said Vietnam and South Africa  have cooperated well at multilateral forums and in economy, trade and investment, however, there is still a lot of potential to promote bilateral cooperation results.

President Nguyen Xuan Phuc received on Wednesday in Hanoi South African Ambassador to Vietnam Mpetjane Kgaogelo Lekgoro on the occasion of the Ambassador ending his mission in Vietnam.

President Phuc suggested that the two sides promote the exchange of delegations, especially high-level delegations, continue intergovernmental meetings to find ways to remove obstacles and strengthen trade promotion.

Ambassador Lekgoro said that trade cooperation has been a bright spot in the relationship between the two countries, adding, South Africa attaches importance to promoting cooperation with Vietnam at multilateral forums and international organizations.
